When planting a vegetable garden, plants, or flower bed, 50/50 compost mix is the ideal choice. 50/50 is high in quality and rich in nutrients. Hanford Ready Mix uses cow solids, dustwood, and green waste. It also contains rice hauls that have all the seeds cooked out at 130 degrees, so no sprouting occurs.
70/30 compost mix is also a good choice. It is slightly lower quality than 50/50, but still very rich in nutrients. Which one to use depends on what you want to grow, so if you have any questions, give us a call at 1.916.685.9774.
